You have the choice everyday to wake up and put your right foot forward. You are the boss of yourself. Dont let your friends or family peer pressure you into skipping out on your gym time if its scheduled or tempt you to stop by that fast food restaurant when you promised yourself you’d give it up. Have confidence in your goals and make your direction clear. Make steps toward the things you want to accomplish. Never allow anyones negative comments, cares or life effect your own. www.ashleyhorner.coNatalie Minh photography. XO

"If you want a young woman to feel strong and self-sufficient, there’s value in asking her to do something physically challenging. She can transfer that confidence to other areas."

No wonder politicians are telling you not to listen to people who call government tyrannical.

Lt Colonel Fighting Jack Churchill, aka Mad Jack
fought throughout WW2 with a longbow and a broadsword
was also known to bring bagpipes
he volunteered for the Commandos, not because he knew what they did but “because it sounds dangerous”
he crawled out of a concentration camp
about the end of WW2, he commented “If it wasn’t for those damn Yanks, we could have kept the war going another 10 years.”

How to be batshit with a load of epic.

this is probably the fifth time i’ve reblogged this but it’s just too awesome not to.

Everytime I see this I reblog it. Jack Churchill is my hero.

Not only did he carry that longbow, but he had the first recorded kill with on since the Hundred Years War. When storming the beaches, he played out “The March of the Cameron Men” on the bagpipes as the ramps were lowered. He once captured fourty-two Germans and a mortar crew with only his  broad-hilted claymore.

I… might be in love a little bit?

Reblogging this for one of my professors, who is related to all the Churchills all the way back to the first Duke of Marlborough. ;)

How did I not know this man existed?
